Martha Tilston

From folk songs she has known since childhood to piano ballads and the odd cheeky bit of trip-hop; to see Martha live is to connect with longed-for parts of ourselves…
Constantly experimenting and creating new sound landscapes with her incredibly talented band, her songs remind us of our interconnectedness with each other and nature – a tonic for these times!

Martha has released 9 critically acclaimed albums, toured the globe, headlined many festivals, including opening Glastonbury festival acoustic stage, sang and recorded with Zero 7, and written, directed and acted in the celebrated and nominated feature film “The Tape” –  a film of hope, love and music set in Cornwall. She helps run song and nature connection retreats and Martha and her creative companions have had an awful lot of fun adventures along the way!

She is currently writing songs, working on her next feature film, learning to cook Moussaka and swimming in the Cornish sea.
