He takes influence from alternative electronica trad, and Irish folk, chopping and blending them with a mixture of found sounds, world music and unorthodox production methods. <\/p>\n<p>Joshua\u2019s critically acclaimed \u201cTeeth of Time\u201d released in 2025, was nominated for RTE 1 Folk Awards, and received glowing support from the likes of MOJO, Songlines, Irish Times, BBC Radio 2 &amp; BBC 6Music support.<\/p>\n<p>His music sits comfortably and confrontationally between the alt-folk realms, while retaining the indie and traditional folk elements of Josh&#8217;s signature songwriting. At times jagged and dark, soothing and bright at others, Joshua\u2019s music comes from the deepest recess\u2019s of his imagination and memories, and pull constant influence from political sectarianism, environmental destruction and his personal experiences.
