{"id":1635,"date":"2026-04-30T10:37:55","date_gmt":"2026-04-30T09:37:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.shambalafestival.org\/2026\/act\/nick-maxwell\/"},"modified":"2026-04-30T11:04:27","modified_gmt":"2026-04-30T10:04:27","slug":"nick-maxwell","status":"publish","type":"acts","link":"https:\/\/www.shambalafestival.org\/2026\/act\/nick-maxwell\/","title":{"rendered":"Nick Maxwell"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Nick Maxwell started DJing in the early 90\u2019s and quickly graduated from a bedroom DJ to a regular player on the club scene in Nottingham and around the Midlands.<\/p>\n<p>Whilst living in the French Alps towards the end of the &#8217;90s, he became heavily involved in the snowboarding scene and was soon blessing the mountain bars and clubs with his vibrant mix of hip-hop, funk and drum &#038; bass.<\/p>\n<p>Nick moved to Brighton in 2000, where he immersed himself in the local hip-hop scene and became actively involved by DJing for crews such as The Menagerie, Special School, and the Blendoffendaz turntablist crew.
