And what is its relationship to Islamophobia, anti-Black and colonial racisms? In this talk Shanice will bring to light the too often forgotten connections between Jews and other racialised groups. As well as exploring the ruptures; from Jewish ethno-nationalism, to the West&#8217;s reinvention of itself as the protector of Jews. Concluding with some provocations on what this means for left and anti-racist movements today, Shanice will invite the audience to share their thoughts. <\/p>\n<p>Shanice McBean is a feminist and Marxist activist and writer. She is the co-author of Abolition Revolution, 2023 winner of the Bread and Roses Award for Radical Publishing. She is also co-host of the Life of the Party podcast.
