All rush used in these workshops is sustainably harvested from the Somerset Levels, gathered and bundled by hand before being carefully dried for use in weaving and making.<\/p>\n<p>These workshops offer participants the chance to explore the calming and tactile qualities of working with rush through a variety of projects suitable for different abilities and timeframes. Participants may choose to make quick and simple rush mats, small woven pots, or larger pieces such as a traditional rush hat.<\/p>\n<p>Rush is a wonderfully relaxing material to work with, making these sessions both grounding and accessible.
