In 2024, we introduced Flamboyant Friday – a new theme for Friday’s dress up. It’s super simple – you vote for a colour, and theme your entire Friday outfits around it. You NAILED the brief, turning our festival fields into a giddy ocean of pink.

We got heaps of lush feedback about how much you enjoyed having an additional theme that was simple and accessible for everyone. The legendary efforts you make for our annual Saturday carnival are a JOY to behold, but we appreciate not everyone is able to spend 40 odd hours getting weird with a glue gun…

So, time to vote for whatever hue you’ll be dressed head to toe in, on Friday at Shambala 2025…

(Disclaimer – as with any of our themes, if this isn’t your bag, you are very welcome to completely disregard all of this nonsense and do your own thing, no rules, no pressure, just suggested silliness! A handful of you did say you felt this theme made it harder to easily locate your mates amongst the mayhem.. if you ask your crew not to take part, they will be incredibly easy to spot…)
