Ashtanga is a style of yoga where postures are linked together on the thread of the breath like a moving meditation. We flow from posture to posture in a rhythmic dynamic sequence developing strength, flexibility and focus. Expect to be challenged, work up a sweat, but have fun at the same time.

Ashtanga yoga follows a fixed sequence which is meant to be practiced 5-6 days a week. There are six different series; the primary series, intermediate series, and advanced series A,B,C, and D. Each series takes about 90 minutes to complete.

(Here at the festival, we will be exploring the primary series)
