Discover the art of traditional silversmithing in this immersive jewellery-making workshop space, offering a minimum of five specialist workshops using recycled silver scrap and traditional hand fabrication techniques. Participants will have the opportunity to create handcrafted silver jewellery while learning practical metalworking skills in a welcoming and creative environment.
Workshops throughout the weekend will include Silver Ring Making, Silver Bangle Making, Silver Hoop Earring Making, Pendant Making, and Charm Making, with participants guided through each stage of the process using traditional jewellery techniques and hand tools. The workshops are designed to be accessible for beginners while still engaging for those with previous making experience.
Alongside the specialist sessions, there will be an all-day £5 Copper Tag Taster Session, offering a simple introduction to metal stamping and jewellery techniques, as well as a free drop-in activity where festival-goers can contribute to a collaborative brass story plaque using letter punches.
