A true Back A Yard SOLDIER, Sky Lion is a veteran Bristol-based DJ and radio broadcaster. Active on the global reggae scene since 2000, he is best known for his foundation sets blending roots, dub, dancehall, and lovers rock and hosts the much-lauded club night Island Fever and Grassroots Show on Ujima Radio.
Sky Lion’s sound system journey has taken him from carrying speaker boxes in Barbados to playing original 45s and supporting major international acts like Tanya Stephens and Sandra Cross and we can’t get him back in the yard booth soon enough.
