Step into a welcoming green woodworking space dedicated to creativity, traditional skills, and hands-on making. Throughout the weekend, participants will have the opportunity to explore a range of carving projects including spoons, carved heads, walking sticks, candlesticks, and more, using a wide variety of traditional green woodworking tools.
At the heart of the space is a traditional pole lathe alongside a fully equipped canvas ridge tent, creating an immersive workshop environment where people of all ages and abilities can drop in, learn, and create at their own pace. The space is open, relaxed, and accessible, encouraging curiosity, creativity, and shared learning.
Alongside open carving sessions, specialist makers may also host focused workshops or demonstrations exploring particular carving techniques or projects in greater depth. Whether completely new to woodworking or already experienced, participants are invited to connect with traditional craft skills and leave with something handmade and unique.
