Join Jas and Sam for an introductory Work That Reconnects workshop: a guided group process of experiential practices designed to strengthen us, connect us, and help us meet difficult times without turning away.
Developed by Joanna Macy, The Work That Reconnects draws on deep ecology, deep time, living systems thinking, and wisdom traditions from around the world. Through talking, listening, reflection, imagination, and shared practice, we’ll move through the four stages of the spiral: rooting into gratitude, honouring our pain, seeing with new and ancient eyes, and going forth.
Rooted in the day’s theme of Stronger Together, this workshop invites us to cultivate compassion, courage, connection, creativity, and hope — not as vague optimism, but as something we practise together.
Previous participants have described the experience as revitalising, grounding, connected, profound, energising, hopeful, grateful, and inspiring.
This is a full-process workshop rather than a drop-in session. Capacity is limited to 25 participants, and doors will close shortly after the start so the group can move through the process together.
Facilitated by Jas (they/them) and Sam (he/him), based in East Sussex, who bring experience in facilitation, event design, music, yoga, farming, carpentry, and community organising.
