Bradley Taylor is an award-winning poet born and based in Birmingham. In 2024 he won the Roundhouse Poetry Slam, with that night marking the biggest poetry slam in history to date. In 2025 he released his debut collection ‘You Missed The Best Part’ before embarking on a nationwide tour. Bradley is also the host and curator of Piece of Work, Birmingham’s premiere poetry night held at the Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery.

Bradley’s work has appeared in Gutter Magazine, Shooter and Strix. More recently, he was commissioned to write a poem for Steven Knight (Peaky Blinders creators). In 2025, his performance at the Roundhouse was nominated for the Sky Arts award for poetry.

He writes for, and about, people.

Poets M. L. Walsh and Ray join Bradley on stage.

M. L. Walsh is a Birmingham-based performance poet specialising in comic absurdism and the construction of narrative through voice and characterisation. Since graduating from the University of Birmingham with an MA in Creative Writing, Walsh has headlined numerous venues inside and outside of the city including the Birmingham Glee Club. Her use of the prose poetic monologue experiments with the translation of performance poetry from page to stage, and how theatrical technique (and its removal) can modify a text.

Ray Vincent-Mills is a poet, performer, (paper)maker and facilitator based in Birmingham.
BLACK, trans, queer & grateful Ray writes out of compulsion and opportunity to reframe their experiences in abstract ways.
