“I rise from every menstrual cycle censored for centuries.
I am here to reclaim my birthright.
I am a Menstrualist.”

A live, immersive experience where research meets rhythm, and personal story becomes collective movement.

Join Kate Shepherd Cohen – founder of Menstrual Cycle Support and a practitioner working within frontline NHS social prescribing – for a powerful performance weaving together spoken word, singing and drumming to explore ‘menstrualism’ as a bold, unifying identity within a growing global movement.

Rooted in Kate’s lived experience of severe cyclical symptoms and frontline work supporting people through menstrual health challenges, this is about breaking stigma – and stepping into something bigger: reclaiming the menstrual cycle as a source of insight, connection, and cultural change.

Whether you’re deep in the menstrual movement or just beginning to question the stories you’ve been told, you’re welcome here. After the performance, the space opens up. Through reflection and creative collaboration, you’ll help shape a shared vision of what menstrualism can look and feel like.

Across the weekend, step into the Red Sea Travel Agency and add your mark. Trace your hand. Write “I am” in your own language. Add your voice to a living artwork – a projection and collage shaped by the festival.

Expect to feel something. Expect to think differently. Leave with a deeper sense of your place within our movement – and what we can create together.
