A hugely respected DJ in his hometown of Birmingham and long-standing resident at seminal club nights including Leftfoot and Magic Door, Sam Redmore has built a formidable reputation as one of the UK’s most exciting and versatile selectors and producers.
He truly broke onto the UK music scene in 2022 with the release of his debut album “Universal Vibrations” – a vibrant, wide-ranging collection of global grooves and eclectic dancefloor heaters capable of igniting any party. The record was met with widespread acclaim and strong radio backing. BBC Radio 6 Music championed the album – spinning standout single “Nagu” over 100 times – and invited Sam to contribute guest mixes for key tastemakers such as Craig Charles, Huey Morgan, Afrodeutsche and Cerys Matthews. Further support followed from BBC Radio 1, NTS Radio, Rinse FM, Worldwide FM and Jazz FM – where the album was awarded Album of the Week – alongside international plays on KCRW, FIP and 2SER.
Redmore built on that momentum in October 2025 with the release of his second album “Modulate” – a dancefloor-focused record that blends electronic and programmed elements with rich live instrumentation. Modulate further cemented Sam’s reputation for crafting forward-thinking, globally influenced dance music. The album features collaborations with internationally esteemed artists including Dele Sosimi and Abdominal, as well as the track “Pride,” originally commissioned as the theme music for Joe Lycett’s stand-up show.
Sam is currently working on a guest mix for Gilles Peterson’s show on BBC Radio 6 Music – a natural fit given Peterson’s long-standing championing of global and eclectic sounds. Beyond radio, Sam has cultivated a huge and highly engaged online following, regularly sharing selections and insights that showcase both his DJ skills and his deep-rooted love and knowledge of music – spanning funk, disco, house and broken beat through to afrobeat, cumbia, salsa and samba.
These wide-ranging influences are central to Sam’s identity as both producer and DJ. Whether delivering an all-night-long journey that transcends genres or a tightly focused set packed with the choicest disco, house and broken beat cuts, Redmore has the taste, technical skill and musical intuition to move any dancefloor.
With his 2026 diary already filling fast, Sam Redmore continues to cement his status as one of the UK’s most in-demand DJs – a selector and producer whose passion, versatility and global perspective truly set him apart.
