As we begin the final countdown to our Adventures in Utopia, we’re super excited to finally share something we’ve been working on behind the scenes for the last six months: the shiny new Shambala 2026 App!
Every year, we dive deep into your post-show feedback, and this past year was no exception – we received over 2,000 specific comments about last year’s app in our Big Debate Survey, and you lot gave us a pretty clear wish list for the ultimate Shambala companion.

We took all of that on board, teamed up with the brilliant tech wizards at VIKIN, and completely rebuilt the app from the ground up.
Because we wanted to give you the absolute best version possible, we’ve invested heavily in its development this year. To help cover those costs, the app isn’t available as free download as it has been in previous years.
But, for less than the price of half a pint, you’ll get a digital companion packed with everything you need to navigate this year’s adventures and squeeze every last drop of joy from your weekend…

To deliver the interactive maps, advanced filters, GPS tracking, and robust offline capabilities the community requested, we spent six months completely rebuilding the app with the development team at VIKIN. Investing in high-quality, ad-free tech means we’ve introduced a small £1.99 fee to cover these development costs.
Not at all! While the app is the most convenient, up-to-date and personalised way to navigate the festival, we will still have essential info and site maps available through our physical programmes and on-site signage.
Yes! The app is explicitly built to work offline. However, you must download it and open it while you still have a solid internet connection at home so all the data can sync to your device before you head into the fields.
