Los Bitchos bring hallucinatory, surf-exotica that is as evocative as it is playful, with instrumental voyages that feel like soundtracks to a night of flaming sambuca and letting yourself get lost. Think panthers prowling through a desert, cowgirls swaggering into a saloon and kicking up dust, or riding shotgun with a Tarantino heroine.
Los Bitchos are made up of lead guitarist Serra, who carries both Australian and Turkish heritage; Uruguayan synth and keytar player Agustin Ruiz; Swedish bassist Josefine Jonsson; and British drummer Nic Crawshaw.
They’ve ripped stages across the globe with headline tours across all continents packed with contagious energy. Whether its playing Glastonbury or Coachella, or supporting King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, Franz Ferdinand or Mac DeMarco, Los Bitchos collide analog and digital techniques to create polished texture and depth with effortless vibes.
“I love writing songs that people can interpret in different ways,” says Petale, also acknowledging their decision to be a purely instrumental band. “It’s about creating a place that lets people use their imaginations. To get lost in their own world.”
"Joyful global sounds that would sit pretty anywhere from a wedding dance floor, a hike through a rainforest or a sunset pool party."
Erazer"Vivid and delightfully camp"
