This workshop offers a supportive and creative space to explore the intricate connection between mental well-being and the journey through menopause. Whether you are approaching, experiencing, have moved through or will walk alongside someone during this significant life transition, all are warmly welcome.

Ancient folklore can offer us guidance through the powerful archetype of the Crone, known for their power, wisdom and judgement. We will use oral storytelling to open up conversations and explore this through directed art making.

Together, we will gently unearth the often under-represented experiences of peri/menopause through the power of shared stories and insightful understanding. This workshop blends informative discussions with hands-on creative exploration.

Jess, is a certified art psychotherapist with experience across the lifespan. Practicing in the Bristol area within local charities and the third sector, Jess provides a trauma-informed and deeply caring space for those seeking support.

Acknowledging that she has not yet personally journeyed through menopause, Jess has thoughtfully collaborated with individuals who have navigated this experience to offer a unique blend of pre-menopausal curiosity and the invaluable wisdom of post-menopausal voices.

Let’s step into the wisdom of our cronehood together.

This is a LGBTIQIA+ inclusive space.
