DIY, unsigned, and completely independent, steel. has built an audience and opportunities through word of mouth and real connections. Championed by scene figures like Steph Phillips (Big Joanie / Decolonise Fest) and the LOUD WOMEN collective, the band has begun to grow outside of Liverpool, continuing their momentum with several festival slots this summer.
With their debut EP—recorded by Archie Dewis of The Lounge Society—primed for release in summer 2026, steel. are ready to introduce their moody brand of punk and stake a claim for Liverpool in the post-punk world.
