A unique opportunity for all Global Majority* heritage folk at Shambala to meet up, make new connections, and heal our histories through the oldest tradition of sharing of stories.

The session is exclusively for people with Global Majority heritage*, and will be facilitated by:
– Sunflower (a creative arts worker, writer, and educator)
– Zad (a liberation-driven community organiser, facilitator and campaigner)
– Jeni (organiser, campaigner, and researcher into transformative justice in the music industry)
– Sheila (co-programmer for Rebel Soul Daytime, facilitator, trainer)

*’Global majority’ is a collective term for people of African, Asian, Latin American, or other heritage backgrounds from the Global South, who constitute approximately 85 percent of the global population. It has been used as an alternative to terms that are seen as racialised, such as ‘ethnic minority’ and ‘person of colour’ (POC), or ‘Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic’ (BAME)
