Anna invites you on a magical journey into the supranatural… an exploratory space where we will use the ancient Georgian art of toasting as a way of deepening our understanding of ourselves and our connection to the world around us.

In this fun and experiential workshop, we will explore the Georgian tradition of Supra – ritualised toasting – as a way of getting more intimate with the depth and breadth of our own experience.

As Tamada, or toastmaster, Anna will lead participants through an embodied, playful practice of observation and appreciation, building our confidence to find and express our own unique voice in the supportive company of others.

Together we’ll explore authentic ways to connect with our hearts, bodies, emotions, minds and intuition, and to share our appreciation with others, co-creating community one toast at a time. Gaumarjos!

Dr Anna Rose Hope is on a journey to explore what it means to be more authentically human. As a ‘doctor of community’, her work spans from academia to hands-on, playful workshops and rituals. Weaving together the five elements of Tibetan Buddhism and the Georgian feasting and toasting tradition of ‘supra’, she is discovering and sharing more embodied ways of experiencing the world around us. These experiences enable us to build connection and community with greater awareness, intention and honesty.
