Sam Atki2 is a Bristol based producer, composer, DJ, and radio presenter, who flips effortlessly between soca, house, dancehall, dubstep, IDM, and ambient, with the output always bearing his distinctive sound.
He has released records on Idle Hands, Peverelist’s Punch Drunk label, Actress’s Werk Discs imprint,
plus an acclaimed ambient album (2019’s Requiem). His self-released Swim Club EPs and album
“Bubble On” combine dreamy dancehall instrumentals with his own illustrations and explorations of queer semiotics. He co-hosts the weekly Super Soca Show on Bristol radio station Ujima 98FM. His deep passion, soft-spoken inquisitiveness, and dedication to his craft mean that no matter what scene or genre he works in, he does it authentically.
