Join Molly in discovering bobbin lace, a traditional UK heritage craft. Threads are wound onto bobbins and carefully crossed and twisted to create delicate openwork fabric. Introduced to Britain in the 1500s, bobbin lace once flourished as a thriving cottage industry. Today, however, it is considered an endangered craft by Heritage Crafts.

This free 2-hour workshop will take place in the pop-up workshop tent, giving participants a chance to try the techniques for themselves and learn more about this fascinating historic craft.

Times will change depending on the day so come and visit the area and see.
