Jam Jah Sound is Friendly Fire Music’s live soundsystem faction, that has been part of Shambala Festival from the early days. Born out of a weekly Monday night, Jam Jah Mondays, celebrating its 25 years of weekly events since 2001, Jam Jah represents live sounsystem culture, with top selections, exclusive tunes, and live artists.
They will be performing alongside artists Myki Tuff and YT
Myki Tuff – one of Birmingham’s stalwart MCs, starting on the Wassifa Sound in the 90s and currently the mic man for Jam Jah and Friendly Fire Band
YT, aka the lyrical activist, is the first MC to voice dubs for Jam Jah Sound and one of the Roots Yard’s favourite artists, blending consciousness and militancy with an impeccable delivery in true soundsystem style.
