Producer and vocalist Grove fuses dancehall, bass, and hip-hop into a bold new sound, driven by sensual liberation and political defiance. Inspired by the DIY ethos of punk, the catharsis of dance music, and the power of Jamaican soundsystem culture, Grove delivers food for thought on the dance floor, with enough energy to turn thought into action.

Grove’s music explores themes from personal and political identity, monarchy, imperialism, and systemic racism, to celebrating the simple pleasures of appreciating beautiful older women.

Over the past two years, Grove has energised audiences at festivals throughout Europe and supported artists like Bob Vylan, Peaches, BABii, and Moonchild Sanelly. Their sound has earned public acclaim from Mary Anne Hobbs, Steve Lamacq, Jamz Supernova, and Jack Saunders.
