Nadeem Din-Gabisi is an award-winning poet, visual artist and filmmaker who has cemented his unique voice as one the of the most thought-provoking new artists to emerge from the UK in recent years. Nadeem’s work channels his experiences as a British-born, second-generation immigrant of Sierra Leonean descent.
He tackles ideas of belonging, estrangement, nationhood and identity with skilful wordplay and powerful narratives weaving through energetic instrumentation and rich, jazz-infused grooves.
As a musician Din-Gabisi is one half of the musical duo An Alien Called Harmony (alongside Momoko Gill). He has also collaborated with artists including Metronomy as well as on Sampa The Great’s phenomenal Energy track.
