Join us in the Community Garden as night falls for a wild and joyful Wassail led by The Cider Box — a raucous rural ritual of fire, song, cider and collective merrymaking.

Rooted in ancient orchard traditions, wassailing is a ceremony to bless the land, ward off unwanted spirits, and welcome in abundance for the season ahead. At Shambala, we turn that blessing towards the festival itself: the people, the place, the harvest of ideas, and all that has been gathered here.

Expect traditional wassailing rites, the knighting of the Wassail King and Queen, a mead toast, songs sung loud, spirits stirred, and plenty of glorious nonsense.

Bring your voice, your spirit, and a cup.
