Taking the train to Shambala is a convenient and environmentally friendly way to get here. Travel to the festival accounts for over 90% of our remaining carbon footprint, so choosing public transport makes a real difference.
Rail Travel
If you choo-choo-choose (…sorry) to arrive by train with a ‘Green Traveller’ ticket, your tickets must be purchased in conjunction with a Rail Station Shuttle Bus ticket (bookable through our official ticket page). This will also unlock a discount of £40 – a win for the environment and your wallet!
This Shuttle Bus ticket will get you from either Market Harborough or Long Buckby train stations to our festival site, and back again!
The shuttle bus from either station is free for under 16s, with no prior booking required for this age group. Under 16s may be required to show proof of age.
Shuttle Buses
Shuttle buses run at regular intervals from Long Buckby and Market Harborough stations on both Thursday and Friday, between 11am – 9pm.
Our shuttles will also take you back to either station on the Monday between 8am – 1pm.
"Can I use the shuttle bus if I'm not a 'Green Traveller' ticket holder?"
Yes, absolutely you can. Shuttle bus tickets may be purchased in advance on our ticket page, or in person on the day (please note the cost of the Shuttle bus may cost more on the day – so best to book in advance).
The shuttle service will operate on a first come first served rolling basis.
Reminder:
If you have a Green Traveller Adult Weekend ticket you must come by Shambala Express coach, Red Fox cycle tour or train and Rail Station Shuttle Bus. Your discounted festival ticket will not be valid for entry if you do not arrive on a designated mode of transport. Failure to do so may result in admission being refused, or a surcharge applied at the gate.
