A colourful outdoor Shambala scene with many tents set up on grassy ground, people walking and talking among them, and yellow flags on poles. Trees and a blue sky are visible in the background.

General Camping

All Weekend Tickets include access to our spacious General Camping areas – with several fields to choose from depending on how close you’d like to be to the arena. Just bring your tent and everything you need for a comfy stay.

Across all General Camping areas you’ll find:

  • Free hot showers
  • Compost loos
  • Drinking water points (some taps are for handwashing only)
  • A 24-hour Campsite Hub where you can access help, information, a site map, compost caddies and bags for sorting your waste and recycling
Two young children in fuzzy blue onesies sit on a wooden bench outdoors, smiling and holding cups. A third child in colourful pyjamas sits beside them, holding a teddy bear. A tent and camping gear are visible in the background.

Family Camping

There is a dedicated quiet camping area for families, where we ask for low noise after 10pm. This area includes family services such as the Family Yurt and Baby Bath Yurt.

Family Camping also has a 24-hour Campsite Hub, where you can get help, information, a map, compost caddies or bags for sorting your waste and recycling.

There is also a Family Camper Van field located close to these services.

Children play among tents at a grassy campsite at Shambala. One child pulls another in a wagon, whilst adults and other children gather near neighbouring pre-pitched camping tents, with trees in the background.

Dragonfly Camping Fields (New for 2026!)

Introducing Dragonfly Camping Fields – for those who fancy a little extra comfort, calm and convenience during the festival. It features a Pamper Parlour, lovely loos, plentiful posh showers, a camp lounge with breakfast stall, coffee trader and WiFi hotspot and a cosy communal campfire to warm your cockles.

You can either:

    • Bring your own tent (just purchase a Dragonfly Camping Fields wristband), or

    • Arrive to a ready-made home via one of our pre-pitched accommodation providers.

Please note: Camplight tents are located in General Camping, not in the Dragonfly Camping Fields.

Pre-Pitched Camping Options

We offer a wide range of pre-pitched accommodation options – from rustic and cosy setups to truly indulgent festival dwellings, including tipis and yurts.

Most pre-pitched options are located in Dragonfly Camping Fields, our new campground for those who want a little extra comfort and convenience.

Camplight pre-pitched tents are located in General Camping.

Four people relax by a silver campervan on a grassy field, talking and smiling. Two sit inside the van, two on camping chairs outside. The van doors are open, and the sky is partly cloudy.

Live-in Vehicle Fields

Our Live-In Vehicle Fields are available for camper vans, converted vans, cars towing caravans/trailer tents and vehicles with rooftop tents.

Pitches must be booked in advance.

There is a General Camper Van Field and a Family Campervan Field, located close to Family Camping services.

For the first time, electric hookups are available as an add-on for live-in vehicle users in the General Camper Van Field at £125 for the weekend.

A smiling person in a yellow outfit sits in a motorised wheelchair, raising their arms joyfully at an outdoor campsite with tents, grass, and cloudy skies in the background.

Accessible Camping Area

The Accessible Camping Area (ACA) is intended for disabled, neurodivergent and d/Deaf people who would find it difficult to camp in the main public camping areas, crew campsite or trader’s pitches.

It is located close to the arena and is laid out to allow clear access into all tents. The area is flat with wheelchair accessible toilets and showers, and an accessibility aid charging point inside a marquee. Access is controlled by wristband with 24-hour stewarding so it is less busy than the public areas.
