We are looking for beautiful and unique installations to light up Shambala’s Enchanted Woods, as well as curiosities that will delight, amaze and entertain our festival goers. Our Enchanted Woods team are particularly keen to support new and emerging artists in these areas. Please be realistic in terms of the cost, safety and scale of your project.
While there are no hard and fast rules to Enchanted Woods art, installations that have worked well in the past have been:
• Accessible to all ages and abilities
• Interactive and multisensory
• Suitable for the day and the night
• Totally safe
• Unbreakable or placed completely out of reach
• Made from recycled or sustainable materials
• Illusionary, witty, cheeky
• Weatherproof and suitable for outdoors
