We are delighted to introduce Dragonfly Camping fields. Named after the frequent flying visitors to our fields, this new area is for those that want more comfort and convenience, and has limited capacity.

You can either book a pre-pitched tent (glamping) or pitch your own tent to enjoy a host of additional benefits:

  • Lovely hot showers
  • A Pamper Parlour with mirrors, hair dryers and straighteners etc.
  • Lovely loos (still compost, naturally, but the bougiest compost loos your bum will ever encounter)
  • 24 hour reception and camp hub for any support you may need throughout the festival 
  • Spacious camping
  • Dedicated parking a short walk from the campsite (Car Pass must be booked separately)
  • Camp lounge with breakfast stall, coffee and WiFi zone
  • Cosy communal campfire to warm your cockles

Why are we doing this?

We’re offering new options in 2026 because we are being asked by the audience (some people want some extra comfort, and not everyone is a die-hard camper), but also because we need to develop new revenue streams to financially thrive as an independent festival.

In 2025 we sold out, and just broke even. In the UK we’ve lost over 100 independent festivals – we’ve reached the 25 year mark, and we are determined to adapt and be here for another 25 years!

Many UK festivals are offering these options, typically at around £100 per person. In Shambala style, we want it to be as affordable as possible, so we’re offering it at £45.

We’re also making sure that those accessing our Pay it Forward:Share the Love initiative will be provided access to the field. If we can grow income by providing services that some of our audience want, and can afford, it helps keep overall ticket prices more affordable.
