10 REASONS TO JOIN US THIS AUGUST..
A big, bold music line up…
Featuring the likes of GOAT, Bob Vylan, Hollie Cook, Nubiyan Twist, Orchestra Baobab, BCUC, Los Bitchos, Emma-Jean Thackray, The Selecter, Penguin Cafe, Paranoid London, Reggie Watts & Capyac, Joshua Idehen, Jamz Supernova,The Menstrual Cramps, Benny Page & Doktor, and the rest….
The best festivals are independent..
that’s just facts – and we’re the UK’s Best Independent Festival, according to the UK Festival awards (as voted by the public 😇)
We’ve also cranked up the independence a big notch this year, by becoming employee owned. A proper party for party people, owned by proper party people.
Take that, bigcorp.
35 venues to explore..
..not counting the more secretive nooks and crannies.
Musically, discover stages dedicated to Dancehall, Techno, Punk, filthy DnB, Folk, Jazz, Roots Reggae, Latin, Eighties disco madness and the rest.
But music is the tip of the iceberg. Craft, yoga and wellness, politics, permaculture, circus, cabaret, immersive theatre, dance workshops, and a frankly unreasonable amount more…

The Enchanted Woods is not messing around…
Our iconic treehouse stage has upped its musical game big style – think Om Unit, Luke Vibert, Emily Dust and an Ishmael Ensemble DJ set.
And this year, for the first time ever, the woods opens from Thursday – meaning a whole extra night of raving amongst the trees, under huge, glowing artworks. PHWOAR.
The LEGENDARY fancy dress carnival…
This years’ theme is Lyrical Genius and sorry, but what could be better than thousands of very, very giddy people dressed as papier mache bats out of hell, big yellow taxis, fat bottomed girls and karma chameleons?!
LITERALLY NOTHING, that’s what.
Ready, steady… glue gun!
A four day cuddle puddle…
…that leaves you utterly off-your-box on how adorable human beings can be.
At Shambala, absolute loves and silly sausages abound. Make friends round the campfire, in the woods at 3am, in the queue for the compost loos, under the disco balls, and before you know it, you’re weirding people out at the motorway services on the way home because you couldn’t not tell them that you love their hair, or how their shoelaces match their eyes.
It's a vegetarian paradise…
Since ditching meat, a whole decade ago, we’ve been proud to serve up the most dazzling, colourful, nourishing array of veggie food imaginable.
This years’ food trader line up is looking particularly mouthwatering and stomach rumbly, from big-as-your-head-bhajis to award winning tacos and traditional dishes from around the world.
Family friendly with a wild side…
We work hard to make the festival great for the whole family, whilst maintaining the music, magic and mayhem.
Think circus, cabaret, family raves, the Playtopia kids’ field, treetop nets and adventure playground magic in The Borogrove, and the Puppet Parlour – a world where puppets pull the strings. The Family Yurt are also on hand with baby baths, cocoa, story time and much more, for the proper teeny ones.
Talks & workshops that pull zero punches…
Art up your activism with Led By Donkeys. Talk Bold Politics with Zack Polanski. Fall in love with the future with Rob Hopkins. Explore the mysteries of the universe with CERN & The Big Bang Collective. Bliss out to a Whale Song Sound Bath…
Or get your silly on, with the unhinged chaos that is the Shambolympics, get creative at Cock Drawing Club, thrust yourself silly at Power Ballad Yoga.. you get the idea.
Have your lovely little mind blown…
…at our Sunday closing ceremony.
Along side our famous firework spectacular, we’ve got a rather special little something up our sleeves…
Come, congregate, give thanks for the good time, and we’ll see the festival out, in serious style.
There’ll be tears before bed time – but the good kind.
Shambala 2026 is set to be an absolute belter – be a part of it.
Loads of love x
