What if, instead of simply learning about nature, we could feel ourselves as part of it?
In this guided somatic movement workshop, we’ll explore the ecology of trees through embodied practice, imagination, and gentle improvisation. Using the body as a way into connection, participants will be invited to move through the different parts of a tree – roots, bark, branches, leaves – discovering how forests breathe, support, communicate, and sustain life.
Through guided movement, body awareness and sensory exploration, this session offers a felt experience of our relationship with the living world. Along the way, we’ll weave in reflections on the ecological importance of trees and the vital role forests play in sustaining life on earth.
No dance or movement experience needed – just curiosity, a body, and a willingness to slow down and listen differently.
