Polly Gone Wrong

Three voices, no instruments—just the occasional stomp of a clog or the tear of paper. Since 2018, Polly Gone Wrong have been bemusedly delighting audiences. Their sound blends intricate vocal harmonies, playful banter, and a joyful cacophony of unexpected noises.

The trio have recently supported This Is The Kit and Jesca Hoop, and featured on a track with Sam Lee. PGW have been beautifully disrupting the folk scene with their mix of joyful realness and intricate vocal compositions. This year, they’re collaborating with Niko O’Brien (Upcycled Sounds, Pony Studios) on their second album—an adventurous fusion of poetic folk storytelling and the punchy stylings of Camille and Sylvan Esso.

“Three beautiful voices that flow together like eels in a mud bath… Unique shows with harmonies that will make your spine tingle, knock repeatedly on your funny bone, and leave you wanting more. Don’t fret about trying to figure out what genre box to put them in – it’d be easier to herd cats.” Review 2023
