Hummusapiens prides itself on selling plant-based food to be proud of. After many successful years on the Bristol street food scene they hit the festival circuit and are now regularly trading at Shambala, their favourite festival without a doubt!
Hummusapiens loves bringing their beautiful hummus bowls to Shambala, they’ve always been a huge hit in the summer sun. This year the bowls are stacked with vibrant homemade Hummus, think Golden Turmeric and Smoky Paprika, then layered with UK grown salads, including Quinoa from Essex! They shred British veg into a crisp, raw slaw and top with plant based proteins, a serious drizzle of the signature garlic tahini sauce and finish with a sprinkle of sunflower seeds. All bowls are gluten and nut free and can be made Coeliac friendly on request.
The hero meal has always been their Shawarma and they think their chicken-style shreds are the best in the business, they crisp up on the grill yet keep meaty and juicy, this one flies out at every festival! The Organic Chilli Tofu packs some heat, whilst othe Organic Sundried Tomato and Vegan Feta combines umami tomato with creamy vegan cheese for the freshest tasting festival bowl.
They always have a kids meal on hand for small stomachs and this year have expanded their breakfast options with a Smoked Cheese and Chorizo melt and our stacked Breakfast Bowl.
