Jurango is a Bristol based DJ, producer, and radio host known for his dynamic sets that fuse the pulse of soundsystem culture with the breadth of the Hardcore Continuum, House, and Techno. From intimate DIY spaces to heavyweight club nights and sprawling festival stages, his sound is both unpredictable and deeply rooted in the UK’s underground music landscape.
He has built a dynamic and versatile presence across the UK, Europe, and beyond, with appearances at Glastonbury, Field Maneuvers, Freerotation, SOUNDIT, Tresor, Razzmatazz, Open Ground, THEØFFICE, and De School (ADE). Standout b2b sets include sessions alongside UK techno mainstay Surgeon.
As a producer, Jurango continues to push boundaries. His 2023 track Junglizer (Rhythm Section) earned widespread support from Hessle Audio, Batu, NIKS, Leon Vynehall, and more. Previous EPs like Isle of Crass (re:lax) and An Amorphous Mass (Livity Sound) were championed by Laksa, re:ni, aya, and Darwin, with coverage in DJ Mag, The Quietus, and Bandcamp Daily.
October 2025 marks the release of his most ambitious project to date, a double EP on Livity Sound that captures a new phase in his evolving sonic identity, taking a deep inspiration from his heritage.
Beyond the club, Jurango has delivered mixes for Bleep, Crack Magazine, Ilian Tape, Keep Hush, NTS, Rinse FM, The Lot Radio, and Kiosk Radio. He also holds down a monthly residency on SWU FM, where his wide-ranging selections continue to showcase the rich textures and influences that define his sound.
