Justice on climate and migration can be boiled down to two things: the right to stay – for communities to thrive and sustain themselves despite the impacts of climate change and global inequality – and the right to move – to ensure safe and legal pathways when staying is not possible or desired. This interactive session will cover some of the key aspects of the intersection of climate & migrant justice, bringing forward perspectives from political policy to local community organising, showing how you can support solidarity between movements.
Hear from Rosanna Wiseman of Tipping Point and Nick Cullen of the Climate Justice Coalition, who both form part of the Climate & Migrant Justice Organising Group, a group building the intersection between climate and migrant justice by facilitating solidarity at the international, national and local community levels of action.
