Jane bought her first album aged 12, which started her extensive record collection and a lifelong love of music. Stumbling into an acid house tent in Glastonbury festival convoy field in 1989 started her love for electronic dance music and vinyl DJing. 35 yrs later Jane is still collecting and DJing club nights and festivals and has made a respected name for herself playing deep, journeying sets spanning genres and decades. Her music collection is wide ranging, and her sets are deep, soulful, funky, psychedelic, underground and always on vinyl.
After moving to London in the mid 90’s, Jane DJ’d at many club nights, some favourites include ‘Vapourspace’, ‘Flavour’ and ‘Subterrain’ at the End, residency at ‘Megatripolis’ and ‘Club UK’, aswell as numerous private parties including many for ‘Silverfish Records’. She worked behind the counter at I.Q records, ordering and selling the kind of electronic music she loved and DJing at nights connected to the iconic Soho record shop.
