Dizraeli

Rapper, producer, firestarter. Songwriter, multi instrumentalist-raconteur, Dizraeli is a genre of his own. From his debut solo album Engurland (City Shanties) to touring the world and releasing the acclaimed Moving In The Dark with The Small Gods, on the way collaborating with artists as diverse as Kae Tempest, Jam Baxter and Eliza Carthy. His solo masterpiece The Unmaster was nominated for Album of the Year by Gilles Peterson in the 2020 Worldwide Awards… Diz has always forged his own way.

In 2022 he conceived and crowdfunded the Twenty Years Deep sustainable touring project which launched in Spring 2022: touring the UK with a new 8-piece ensemble, travelling entirely by train and electric vehicle, planting trees and distributing wildflower seeds in every city. Taking in the UK festival circuit, including, Glastonbury, WOMAD and the Main Stage of Shambala, the tour’s finale was a huge show at the O2 Academy in Bristol, with an audience of 1000 and featuring the ensemble and two local choirs.

Last spring he released Alive At The End Of The World, a live album recorded over the Twenty Years Deep tour and accompanied by a series of explosive live videos. This was followed by The Kid, a 4 track EP exploring fatherhood and co-produced with Tom Excell: another step in the pioneering journey of this unique artist.
