Daraa Tribes are a Moroccan desert music group originating from the oasis city of Tagounite in the Daraa River Valley in Morocco.
Each of its members is from a different tribe and brings different musical traditions with them.
It’s a mix of traditional tribal music and Sahara blues. A style was created, as it can only be found, in the oases of the North African Sahara: Gnawa rhythms, Saharaui, Amazigh, Regada and Ikaaba.
They offer a tribal fusion with a touch of blues and rock, eclectic sounds, percussion and vocals, the Darija, Hassani and Tamazight. This reflects a multilingual and multi-ethnic expression .
