Welcome potential bar crew!
This application is for volunteers interested in working 2 x 9 hour bar shifts (8 hour basic plus changeover time as required) in exchange for your ticket.
All staff must be over 18 years old and applications must be accompanied with an upload of a proof of age ID.
Acceptable forms of ID are:
– A photo driving licence
– A passport
– A proof of age card, such as the PASS card from the National Proof of Age Standards Scheme.
Please apply using your name as it appears on your photo ID and use your own personal email address (multiple applications will be rejected).
You will be required to pay a deposit of £200 which will be refunded provided you complete your 2 shifts without any problems (this will take 2-3 weeks post festival).
Your place on the team is not secured until you have paid your deposit.
Deposits will be non-refundable for applications withdrawn after August 1st 2019.
Priority will be given to staff that have worked on the Shambala bars before. Applications will be processed as they are submitted, so please apply in good time to avoid disappointment.
Previous experience is essential. You must provide two references and upload a CV of relevant experience. You may (will) be required to wear fancy dress!
You will be required to attend a compulsory briefing and training session on site at 1pm, Thursday 22nd August.
Please be aware that no-shows cause us serious problems. If you do not complete all of your shifts you will be banned from applying in the future.
